WHO ARE WE ?
What even is AFQ ?
AFQ (All For Queer) is a space that simplifies queer rights, laws, accessibility resources, mental health information, and support systems in India
But we're doing it differently.
- No robotic paragraphs.
- No intimidating legal jargon thrown at your face like a brick.
Instead, imagine sitting with a drag artist friend who says:
" Okay babe, here's what the law actually means. "
But Q ?
Why does it matter ?
Oh, I don’t know. Maybe because queer people in India are constantly expected to survive systems they were never taught about.
A lot of us don’t even know:
what protections we have, what documents we can change, where discrimination can be reported, what rights exist for trans people, whether conversion therapy is legal, or how healthcare accessibility works.
An information is power, especially when the world keeps trying to make queer people feel powerless.
So consider this website your queer guidebook, legal decoder, emotional support tab, and occasional reality check, multitasking queen behavior.
Before you continue
A small reminder from me to you. If you’re queer and confused — you are not “behind.” If you’re still figuring things out — that’s okay. If the law feels scary and complicated — that’s exactly why AFQ exists.
You don’t need to know everything to deserve dignity. And no, you don’t need to “look queer enough” to belong here either. I checked. There’s no entrance exam.
